I know I've mentioned them on and off throughout this blog, but as of today, here are links to all of my poems/writings. Some of them you can read on the website. Some of them you've got to buy the book, zine, etc.
McSweeney's This was one of the first things that I got published and I was super psyched that it was McSweeney's.
Issue 7 of Edinburgh's Read This magazine, which is an awesome publication run by Claire Askew. It looks like this one is no longer for sale as it was a small press zine. Sorry!
National Galleries of Scotland runs a yearly competition called "Inspired? Get Writing!" where they accept poems written about any work of art in their collection. I was one of two runner ups in the unpublished poets category so they put my poem in their second volume of poems. Its a great coffee table book!
I wrote a poem about a tattooed lady that's published in Skin Deep: An anthology on tattoos and tattooing
Lizzy Stewart was a girl I did an artist/writers collaboration with when I was in Edinburgh for Uni. She's an inspired lady and with her boyfriend Jez Burrows, put together this book. It's a pairing of artists and writers. I wrote a poem and gave it to an artist and he gave me a picture and we both created from that. Its a great collection. You can get a copy here at Sing Statistics: We Are The Friction
My latest publication is in a lit mag for Bremen University in Germany. Its called newleaf I think because it is a student magazine that it's not available for purchase but I will double check and update this when I find out.
thiscollection is yet another collaboration project. This one is spearheaded by the poetry goddess Claire Askew. Its a collection of 100 poems about Edinburgh that will eventually be matched with filmmakers to make movies about the poems. My poems are #29 and #30.
There you go! This is in no way a plea for you to buy these books, but people have asked where they can get my stuff and I figured it would be good to have all the links in one place.
